Filters, picks, the grid and travel
Filters
Tap the sliders at the top of Discover.
- Age and Maximum distance.
- Looking for: what people want. With Only show these on, others are hidden; off, they just come later.
- More filters: recently active, height, languages, education, video or voice intros, interests in common. Only you see your filters.
Tap Show people to apply them. When nobody new is left, Discover offers Change filters.
Today's picks
The sparkle button shows a few people chosen for you once a day from people who match your filters.
Cards or a grid
The second button switches the view: Cards, Grid or Dense grid. The grid shows people nearby, closest first. Your exact location is never shown, only a rounded distance.
Search by username
If someone told you their username, the search button finds them (where it is offered). You only find people who chose to be found this way.
Travel mode
Going somewhere? In Settings → Location, choose a city and the number of days. You see people there, and they see you as visiting.
