Staying safe
Report and block
From any profile or chat, open the ⋮ menu:
- Report: tell us what happened. A person reviews every report, usually within a day. They won't know you reported them.
- Block: you won't see each other anywhere in the app. They aren't told.
- Unmatch: ends the match and removes the chat for both of you.
The Safety Center
On Me → Safety Center:
- Check a message or link: paste something that feels wrong and see the warning signs.
- Date safety kit: plan a date, choose a trusted contact, and the app checks in with you.
- Advice for meeting in person, and help lines you can call.
Privacy tools
- Hide me from people I know (Settings → Safety): people saved in your phone's contacts don't see you, and you don't see them.
- Blocked people: see and undo blocks.
- Show my distance and Show when I'm active (Settings → Privacy).
