Everyone here is real. The verified badge shows people that you are the person in your photos.
How it works
- On Me, tap Verify now on the Face verification card.
- Read what we keep and agree.
- Record a short video of your face (about 8 seconds) and follow the head movements on the screen: left, right, up or down.
- We compare your face with your photos. Most checks take a few seconds; sometimes a person checks within a day.
Tips
- Good light, face the camera, no sunglasses, mask or hat.
- Be alone in the picture.
- If you can't make the movements, tap I can't do these movements: a person checks your video instead.
After you are verified
- The badge shows on your profile and cards.
- You can add a profile video and a voice intro.
- New photos that clearly show someone else are refused, so nobody can use your account with other people's pictures.
You can withdraw your consent at any time in My data & privacy.
